Volleyball Centre of Excellence
It has been a good indoor season for both men and women teams and RVB would like to say a special thank you to all the players, coaches, team coordinators, parents, volunteers & community partners who has been involved with us this year. We can’t do this without you!
Both the boys and girls junior volleyball teams from Richmond Volleyball Centre of Excellence finished 5th at the Volleyball England u15 National Volleyball Finals, which took place at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering on Saturday 10 May.
The 4th and final series of the South London Junior Grand Prix (and to support preparations for the London Youth Games teams Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow) will be on:
• Girls: Saturday 17th May – 12 noon to 3pm (Tiffin Boys School)
• Boys: Saturday 24th May – 12 noon to 3pm (Tiffin Boys School)
For the 1st time in club history nine local boys from Richmond Volleyball Junior Centre of Excellence represented South East at the Volleyball England u15 Inter-Regional Championships held at University of East London. The team excelled itself by finishing 4th competing against the National Academy and a Regional Academy.
Mixed Divisions South London Volleyball League Finals were played at Richmond College, Twickenham over three days on the 28, 29 and 30 April 2014. It was incredible display of quality volleyball in all 3 divisions and the winners had to work really hard to get the medals.
