Our Saturday beach open sessions take place all year round and provide a fantastic opportunity for members and non-members to participate in beach volleyball. We have sessions for everyone, from complete beginners to advanced.
All sessions take place at the beach courts at Teddington Sports Centre.
Open Training & Games
Time: 9:30-11:00
Level: Beginners & Improvers
Age: Mixed Adults (over 18)
Fees: £6 (Members) or £8 (Non-Members) per session
In this coached session you will learn all the core volleyball skills including passing, setting, attacking, serving and blocking. The session consists of training followed by fun games. Complete beginners welcome!
King/Queen of the Court
Time: 11:00-13:00
Level: Intermediate & Advanced
Age: Mixed Adults (over 18)
Fees: £6 (Members) or £8 (Non-Members) per session
Up to 12 teams play on 3 courts in 4 rounds for the title “King of the Court”. The court is divided into a king’s side and a challenger side. It’s a knockout race that makes every rally count! Suitable for intermediate and advanced players who are looking to take part in an intense and fast paced competitive session. You can come with a partner or as individuals (in which case we will put a team together for you).
Open Games
Time: 13:00-15:00
Level: Intermediate & Advanced
Age: Mixed Adults (over 18)
Fees: £6 (Members) or £8 (Non-Members) per session
The session is aimed at intermediate and advanced players and consists of 2-a-side games. Teams will be made up on the day and you will play with different partners, so you can sign-up individually and don’t need to bring a partner.
Registration
Registration and ticket sales for the open session is via Stack Team App only. We no longer accept cash payments on the day. Tickets go on sale the preceding Sunday.

- Download Stack Team App (free) to your smartphone here (http://teamapp.com/app).
- Launch Team App.
- Sign-up to Team App. You’ll be sent an email to confirm your registration.
- Log in. Then search for Richmond Volleyball Beach and request access to the Mixed Adults group. This will be approved automatically.
- Go to Sessions and find the session you want to book
