Bellos wins Englands first ever Junior Beach Volleyball NEVZA gold medal

Javier Bello and Joaquin Bello (RVB) represented England Juniors and claimed England’s first ever gold medal at the u17 NEVZA Beach Volleyball Championships in Sweden winning against Norway in the final.

Three other RVB Junior Girls were also selected to represent England Juniors at NEVZA: Anna Keefe, Martha Bullen, & Katie Keefe. A fantastic achievement to all involved.

NEVZA is a competition for northern European nations, which consists of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Faroe Islands, England and Greenland.

Congratulations to all the feamle athletes and to all Football Foundations who can together for fun PL4S Regional Beach Volleyball Tournament.

The Premier League 4Sport (PL4S) Regional Junior Beach Volleyball Tournament took place on Saturday 9th July at Teddington Beach Courts (SW London) supported by Richmond Volleyball proved to be a huge success with teams from Arsenal, QPR, Tottenham, Fulham and West Ham Football Foundations.

RVB would like to say a Big thank you to all the players, parent volunteers who ran the borough teams, & community partners who contributed to last weekend’s success in the u18 London Youth Games indoor volleyball competition.

RVB put together four young borough teams (2 boys & 2 girls) representing Team Kingston, Team Hounslow, and Team Richmond and the results are as follows:

It has been a mixed indoor season for both men and women senior teams and RVB would like to say a special thank you to all the players, coaches, team coordinators, parents, volunteers & community partners who has been involved with us this year.

Thank you very much to all of you for your hard work and dedication to the teams. You’ve all contributed to this result and can be very proud of your achievements. Next season, we will have the opportunity to build on this season’s success. We can’t do this without you!

RVB would like to say a special thank you to all the players, coaches, team coordinators, parents, volunteers & community partners who has contributed to our indoor club success over this past season, and we look forward to working with you all again for next season. We can’t do this without you!

In summary RVB has run 6 junior teams (boys & girls) in Volleyball England National Junior Cup & National Grand Prix competitions and two teams in the National Volleyball League (NVL).

Recognised as one of top three junior clubs in the country we’re now working towards becoming one of six Volleyball England Regional “AASE” Academies.
