Richmond NVL2 Women’s team started their countdown to Christmas with travelling to Southampton last Sunday and bringing home 3:0 victory. One done, three to go in the next two weeks !
Richmond stormed to a commanding lead by the second technical timeout in the first and second set – 16-7 and 16-9 respectively.
Richmond NVL Div 2 Women were back to their winning ways vs New Forest today. The team brought home a 3-1 victory (21-25, 25-23, 25-21 and 25-11) which made a 2 hours journey much more pleasant.
After half term break for many junior players and Halloween trick-or-treating, the team came back with a bang!
Congratulations to the Richmond juniors LUCY KNOTT and MADDIE MONTEIRO on their selection for the England Cadets squad.
Coach Will Macdonald commented : “It is absolutely a credit to Maddie’s and Lucy’s work ethic.”
We wish them all the success and looking forward to seeing them playing for England soon.

After their great performance last week away in Bristol and a very hard week training, Richmond NVL Div2 team played their first home match at Kingston Arena last Sunday vs Sussex Dolphins. They entertained the home crowd with a 5-setter thriller and came away with a 3-2 victory (15-25, 25-16,25-21,19-25 and 15-8) to top the divisional table with two wins. Read More
