The Richmond men’s division enjoyed a bumper weekend of victories. Richmond Docklands progressed to the quarter finals of the National KO Cup with a professional performance against Manchester Marvels 1 whilst victories for our NVL2 and London Premier teams made it a 4-0 weekend. Read More
Richmond Men’s division had a successful weekend on the road with both the Super League and NVL2 sides returning to London with 3-1 victories. The division’s resources were stretched with a number of players unavailable due to injuries or work commitments. Both squads travelled with just eight players but both came back with the points. Richmond Docklands succumbed to their third Super League defeat as they hosted last year’s runners up IBB Polonia. The home side welcomed back the Bello brothers after their magnificent fifth place at the Youth Olympics. Coach Andy Hopper threw them straight back into the mix even though they had only just returned from Argentina that morning. Despite this, Joaquin produced an assured performance as Libero whilst Javier improved with every touch of the ball.
Richmond Men continued their winning start to the NVL2 season with a 3-1 victory away to Milton Keynes City.
