Richmond NVL Div2 Women : ON YOUR MARKS…

After a short but intensive pre-season training period, Richmond Volleyball National League Division 2 Women’s Team is ready for their first away fixture vs Bristol on Sunday, 23 September.

The new team under experienced and charismatic Head Coach Giorgio Scatigna is welding together well known players from the last season’s junior national champions squad with Richmond senior  players returning  to NVL after playing in regional teams and  very keen newcomers.  Read More

Richmond VB Women September Training

New season is finally here! Richmond VB adult women teams start training this week. We run National League Div 2 team (NVL2) and Regional London League Team (LVA). If you missed the tryouts, no problem. You can join our club at any time. You are welcome to come to any LVA training sessions to have a go and discuss all options for training and competition.

In September we will be training in various venues on various days as we still wait for confirmations from some new venues. You can check  our locations in Venues in the top menu.

Richmond return from U20 Volley Culture, Paris

A trip to Paris was a fitting ending to what has been a great season for Richmond Volleyball’s U18 women. It was the team’s second time in the French capital, having participated in the inaugural event last year, and was an excellent ten days playing some great teams as well as enjoying the sights: The Bastille Day fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, Disneyland, and Montmartre, not to mention the World Cup final.

Newly formed club beats champions IBB Polonia in five sets

After an off-season fraught with protracted negotiations between London Docklands, one of the most historic clubs in the country, and Richmond Volleyball Club, a rising force in English Volleyball, the debut match of the newly formed Richmond Docklands ended in a dream scenario.

The simple fact that Super 8 volleyball was played on Saturday evening at Kingston College Arena was a significant achievement and testament to the vision and hard work of all involved at both London Docklands and Richmond Volleyball Club.
