RVB NVL Men 1st team lost 3-0 away against London Lynx in the National Cup. They now travel to Essex in the NVL Shield on Sat 30th Nov
RVB under-18 Boys qualified to the quarter finals (last 8’s) and semi finals of the U18 National JR Cup and also qualified to U18 National Grand Prix Finals (top 8 junior teams) to be held in Jan and Feb 2015.
Support from Active Surrey results in growing demand for Elmbridge-based volleyball club
A Weybridge-based community sports club has been named ‘the best in the South East’ after launching a satellite volleyball club in Elmbridge. With support from Surrey’s County Sports Partnership, Active Surrey, Richmond Volleyball Club set up Heathside Volleyball Club to address a previous lack of participation in the sport and to provide a new opportunity for local, young people.
Welcome to Richmond Volleyball NVL season 2014-15 which starts in earnest this weekend. We warmly welcome friends and family to come and support the teams for another big season.
RVB Men’s NVL 1st will be in action at Kingston College Arena against Horndean from Portsmouth (very strong opposition) – 1st serve at 1.30pm
RVB Women’s NVL 2nd Youth team will be against Sussex Dolphins – 1st serve at 1.30pm.
Richmond Volleyball held the ‘Rising Stars’ Junior Beach Volleyball Championships on the 6th September at Broom Road, Teddington. It was a great success and saw 12 top pairings (including several British Junior Gold and Silver medallists) show off their talent and growing skills. The boys & girls pairs were competing for the top spot in various age groups.
The indoor season for ALL teams starts from Monday, the 8th September. Please check the training schedule in Teams section.
Junior Development Centre starts on the Sunday, 14th September at Kingston College Arena at 9:30am. First session is for ALL ages and levels.
