Well done to RVB u18 Men who had a comfortable 1st round in the u18 National Junior Cup finishing 2nd in their group and qualifying to the last 16. The boys traveled to North London and played four matches winning the first two matches against Epsom 2-0 & Chadwell Heath 2-0,and then drawing 1-1 against Newbury but won the match by 1 point on points difference. It has been a good week for us since the disappointment of losing two of our opening games of the season. We played a tough home game last Saturday against Solent and won 3-1 and then put in another good performance winning away 3-0 against New Forest, taking the team to the top of the National League Division 2 South table with three wins and two loses. The South London Volleyball League gets back underway again starting next Monday, 30th September and Tuesday 1st October taking the league to 39 teams. All matches played on Monday and Tuesday evenings are held at Richmond College from 7-10 pm and Saturday afternoons junior matches are held at Hampton Boys School from 2-5 pm.
