RVB AGM 2016 – 8 June, Wednesday 8pm, Kingston upon Thames

Richmond Volleyball AGM will be held on the 8th June 2016 in Kingston upon Thames at the Gazebo by the river. Start 8pm.

Please put the date in your calendar! Agenda will be sent next week to the registered members with proposed amendments to the Club Constitution and nominations for the officers.

All parents of the junior members are invited to attend. If you have ideas and proposals, please send them to the Club secretary at contact@richmondvolleyball.co.uk as soon as possible so we can include them for discussion at the meeting.

RVB Boys Wins First u16 National Crown

Richmond VB boys won the U16 National Final gold medal match 3-0 (25-23; 25;19; 25-20) against Ernest Bevin College Greenhouse at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering.

The team came to Kettering to make history and they did it! This group are the current U15 National Champions and this year was the Boys’ 2nd season in the National League competing in NVL Men’s Division 3 South.

RVB announces 2016 Beach Volleyball Season

Richmond Volleyball & South London League will be starting the 2016 Summer Beach Volleyball season w/c 11th April 2016 and will run weekly programmes until September 2016 held at Broom Rd, Teddington (next to Teddington School).

Junior Development Centre Announcement

This Sunday, the 31st of January, Kingston College Arena is not available for RVB Development Centre sessions due to College events. We apologise for a short notice. Below are the dates for the Girls alternative sessions and we hope that players will be able to attend:

29 January, Friday, 7:30pm-9:00pm – girls normally training at 11 am session on Sundays + u15 teams competing on Saturday

5 February, Friday, 7:30pm-9:00pm – girls normally training at 9:30 am session on Sundays

Alternative dates for Boys will be announced later.

RVB Juniors – Welcome to our new Indoor Season 2015-2016

A warm welcome back to another year of junior volleyball with RVB. I’m pleased to enclose information for the 2015-16 season.

We start back w/c 7th September with all sessions and age groups.

Please note we have 2 new training sessions this year- winter volleyball for YR3-YR6 and YR7-YR9. These will be mixed sessions.

I would like to wish all the players good luck in their different teams & leagues and to say thank you to all the club coaches, referees and volunteers who support our many matches and community events.
