RVB NVL Men 1st team lost 3-0 away against London Lynx in the National Cup. They now travel to Essex in the NVL Shield on Sat 30th Nov
RVB under-18 Boys qualified to the quarter finals (last 8’s) and semi finals of the U18 National JR Cup and also qualified to U18 National Grand Prix Finals (top 8 junior teams) to be held in Jan and Feb 2015.
Support from Active Surrey results in growing demand for Elmbridge-based volleyball club
A Weybridge-based community sports club has been named ‘the best in the South East’ after launching a satellite volleyball club in Elmbridge. With support from Surrey’s County Sports Partnership, Active Surrey, Richmond Volleyball Club set up Heathside Volleyball Club to address a previous lack of participation in the sport and to provide a new opportunity for local, young people.
It has been a good beach season for both adults and juniors at RVB beach venue at Broom Road, Teddington Recreational Ground for all levels and ages, from beginner, improver to advance players creating many opportunities for the community to be involved.
RVB would like to say a big thank you to all the players, coaches, team coordinators, parents, volunteers & community partners who have been involved with us this year. We can’t do this without you!
Anton Kornilov & Luis Bello were celebrating success last Sunday winning the 2014 All Stars Beach Volleyball Finals held at Teddington Recreation Ground on Broom Road.
The All Stars Finals is the end of the season event for the top 12 teams from the weekly Sunday Power Series. Throughout the summer, players were competing in the weekly Sunday tournaments in Teddington accumulating points and getting ranking to qualify for the finals.
Following on from a successful summer beach volleyball season Richmond Volleyball will continue to offer social beach volleyball throughout the winter months (weather permitting).
Starting from Saturday, 13th September at 10am at our beach venue at Teddington Recreational Ground, these sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for people of different ages, gender and sporting ability to participate in beach volleyball. Read More
