Richmond Docklands returned to Kingston Arena for the first time this season and came away from the weekend with a win and loss. On Saturday they battled to a 3-1 loss against champions IBB Polonia London but on Sunday recovered to defeat Newcastle Staffs 3-0 and maintain their place in the top four of the Super League. The Men’s NVL2 team also defeated Urbond VC Portsmouth to move into second place.
For the second Saturday in a row Richmond Docklands travelled to Essex and returned to west London with two points after a hard fought five-set victory. This weekend they faced newly promoted Tendring at the University of Essex.
Richmond Docklands secured their second away win of the Super League season, moving up to third in the table by beating Team Essex Blaze in a scrappy five-set encounter. The Men’s NVL2 and Surrey League teams also tasted victory this weekend.
Richmond’s men’s side travelled to take on Tamworth Spartans in round 2 of the National KO Cup and returned with a comfortable 3-0 victory.
