Quarters beckon for Richmond Docklands
Richmond Docklands progressed to the quarter finals of the KO Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Black Country. Richmond next face Wessex in January in a repeat of last season’s last 8s tie.
Two out three wins for Richmond Men
Richmond Docklands returned to Kingston Arena for the first time this season and came away from the weekend with a win and loss. On Saturday they battled to a 3-1 loss against champions IBB Polonia London but on Sunday recovered to defeat Newcastle Staffs 3-0 and maintain their place in the top four of the Super League. The Men’s NVL2 team also defeated Urbond VC Portsmouth to move into second place.
Richmond Docklands the five-set kings
For the second Saturday in a row Richmond Docklands travelled to Essex and returned to west London with two points after a hard fought five-set victory. This weekend they faced newly promoted Tendring at the University of Essex.
Men’s weekend round-up: The only way is Essex for Richmond Docklands
Richmond Docklands secured their second away win of the Super League season, moving up to third in the table by beating Team Essex Blaze in a scrappy five-set encounter. The Men’s NVL2 and Surrey League teams also tasted victory this weekend.
Richmond defeat Spartans 3 00
Richmond’s men’s side travelled to take on Tamworth Spartans in round 2 of the National KO Cup and returned with a comfortable 3-0 victory.
