The Community Challenger Cup is a series of 6-a-side mixed tournaments played monthly at Richmond College Sports Hall on Saturday afternoons from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. At each tournament, teams will compete for points as well as the cup.
The Challenger Cup is used as a way for teams to grow and have further opportunities to compete. Whether you’re a new team or didn’t quite make it into the local/county/regional leagues,the Challenger Cup welcomes you to compete!
Teams can compete either in 1 or all tournaments and will also amasses points for themselves. Remember, the more tournaments you go, the more point’s teams will rack up, the better chance you have to win the overall Challenger Cup series.
• Max 8 teams, 6 hours, 20 matches, 12 matches at group stage, 2 groups of 4 and round robin, 4 semi-finals, 4 finals
• Every team plays 5 matches, of 30 mins, to 31 points, 3 group matches, 1 semi-final, 1 final
• Mixed intermediate with at least 3 female players on court,
• Junior teams (under 16) can play with all boys or all girls
• 11:00 Registration
• 11:30 Start of group matches
• 14:50 Group photo
• 15:00 Semi-finals
• 16:00 Finals
• 17:00 Presentation, followed by social event
• Junior team £30
• Adult team £50
