NEW 2014-15 National League Volleyball Season starts this Sunday, 21st September.

Welcome  to Richmond Volleyball NVL season 2014-15 which starts in earnest this weekend. We warmly welcome friends and family to come and support the teams for another big season.

RVB Men’s NVL 1st will be in action at Kingston College Arena against Horndean from Portsmouth (very strong opposition) – 1st serve at 1.30pm

RVB Women’s NVL 2nd Youth team will be against Sussex Dolphins1st serve at 1.30pm.

This season we will be running two additional teams that are our  youth teams (totaling four). These are elite players from our junior youth development squads and are also involved in regional and local competitions and play in various age categories in Volleyball England National Junior Championships.

In summary the teams for this year :

Men’s NVL 1st: (Division 2 South). Team coach David Rijvers. The team will be looking to sufficiently improve on their 5th league standings from last season. If they can achieve the potential and talent level they have, they can push for top two and a promotion play-off. View all fixtures

Men’s NVL 2nd Youth (Division 3 South East). Team coach Luis Bello. Their 1st game will be at home on Sunday 19th October vs Newmarket VC / Norwich Spikers – 1st serve at 1pm and 3pm. Technically good they will be looking to cause big upsets against the big teams in their division. View all fixtures

Women’s NVL 1st (Division 2 South). Team coach Vera Kenyon. The team will be at home on Sunday 28th September vs South Hants – 1st serve @ 1.30pm. They are hoping to improve upon the position they achieved last year (6th ) and challenge for a top 3 spot.View all fixtures
