For the second Saturday in a row Richmond Docklands won a hard fought five-set battle. This time they defeated old rivals Malory Eagles UEL, coming back from 1-0 and 2-1 down. It saw Richmond move up to fourth in the Super League table before the division splits in two after Christmas.
Last Sunday Oxford was coming to Richmond unbeaten after four games hoping to consolidate their leading position in the league before Christmas. But it was not to be. After conceding the opening set, Richmond team claimed the next 3 and the top spot in the League table.

Richmond Docklands secured a place in the top half of the Super League with a five-set victory over Sheffield Hallam. Luis Bello’s side will now compete for the title in the second half of the season. Despite the defeat they will be joined by Sheffield.
Playing at home was a welcome break from travelling over 1200 miles to the last 3 games, and Richmond made home advantage count by beating Birmingham 3-1.
