Andrade and Rijvers win the All Stars Finals

Luciano Andrade & David Rijvers was celebrating success last yesterday winning the 2016 All Stars Beach Volleyball Finals held at Broom Road, Teddington Recreation Ground.

The All Stars Finals is the penultimate end of the season event aimed for the top 10 teams from the RVB Summer 2v2 Series to be crowned “Champion”. Players received entry from competing in the weekly Sunday Series tournaments run throughout the summer where players accumulate points and ranking points for All Stars.

RVB Men – Welcome to our new Indoor Season 2016-2017

The long anticipated Richmond Volleyball Club (RVB) indoor men’s season is about to start!
The club will run two open sessions next week for existing players to return to indoor volleyball and new players to see if they are interested in joining the club for the upcoming season.

Monday September 12th, 2016, 20.00 – London / Surrey Leagues or training without competing.CHRIST’S SCHOOL, QUEEN’S ROAD, RICHMOND TW10 6HW. Please drive into the school car park – it is free to use. Nearest tube station is Richmond. Nearest train stations are Richmond and North Sheen.

Thursday, September 15, 2016, 20.00 – National Volleyball League Division 1. KINGSTON ARENA SPORTS CENTRE (KINGSTON COLLEGE), KINGSTON HALL ROAD, KINGSTON KT1 2AQ. There is no free car park close to the venue, but plenty of paid for car parks. Nearest train station is Kingston.

Summer Slamdown a great success raising funds for British Heart Foundation

Richmond VB would like to thank everyone for helping to raise £777.70 funds for British Heart Foundation making the Mixed 4’s Beach Summer Slamdown Festival a great success – in particular, to all the teams and to volunteers who helped out in various capacities on the day.

This event was a sell out and broke all fundraising records. We look forward to welcoming back all volleyball participants and seeing new team entries for 2017.

Richmond success at the 2016 UK School Games!

Luis Bello coaches the England Cadet boys to silver with a team including Joaquín Bello (Best Outside Hitter), Javier Bello (Best Setter), Yoan Kuzzmanov and Noah Goalen. Anna Keefe captains England Cadet girls to gold with Mattea Goalen. Martha Bullen (Best Libero) and Katie Keefe finish runners up. Congratulations to all!
