After a shaky start in the first match of the day vs Malory Eagles (2-0 to hosts), RVB u18 Women proceeded to winning the next two matches securing the 2 place in the London Pool of the National Championship and qualifying for the 2nd Round.
After disappointment of losing to Tendring earlier this month, Richmond Volleyball NVL Women’s team returned home from Dartford with a well deserved 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-14, 25-16). Richmond team performance had a solid base of fundamental skills that were consistent throughout the match.
Richmond Volleyball NVL Men’s team extended their lead at the top of the National League Division 2 South table with a solid 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-22) team victory over Horndean VC (Portsmouth).
Well done to RVB u18 Men who had a comfortable 1st round in the u18 National Junior Cup finishing 2nd in their group and qualifying to the last 16. The boys traveled to North London and played four matches winning the first two matches against Epsom 2-0 & Chadwell Heath 2-0,and then drawing 1-1 against Newbury but won the match by 1 point on points difference.
