Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Playing Field (not to be confused with Joseph Hood Recreation Ground) is one of Merton’s 13 Elite Sports Grounds and situated in Motspur Park, off Marina Avenue.
The facilities is a Green Flag Award winner in 2009, 2008 and 2007.

By Train
The nearest train station to Sir Joseph Hood is
Motspur Park Station (travel card zone 4) which is served by South West Trains from London Waterloo
travelling to southbound destinations (Wimbledon, Chessington South, Dorking and Guildford).
It's a 3 min walk from the station.
By Car
A3 Kingston Bypass and come off at Malden Junction. At the roundabout take exit onto the A2043 (Worcester Park, Cheam).
Turn left onto Blakes Lane. Turn right onto West Barnes Lane (Motspur Park Station on your left).
Turn right onto Marina Avenue. The main entrance to Sir Joseph Hood Park is down the bottom of Marina Avenue.
There is limited free parking in the park.
