South London Volleyball League

Welcome to the South London (Local) Volleyball League! The league is led by Richmond Volleyball volunteers and assisted by all the local league clubs involved; promoting and developing the game in North East Surrey, Kingston, Richmond, Hounslow and other South London boroughs.

Volleyball is EASY, FUN and POPULAR and the SLVL is played by both genders, all ages and all levels (from beginner to Olympic hopeful). Come and join us and see for yourself this fast growing and dynamic Olympic team sport in action; and also the great social atmosphere it creates for all.

This indoor league comprises of 14 teams (2 divisions) with all matches being played on 2 courts held on Monday evenings from 7pm to 10pm at Richmond College. During the season (October to April) each team will play 18 matches and on match evening each team will play TWO matches against TWO different teams. (i.e. triangular matches / round robin format). Want to get involved but don't have a team?

Come and join us every Sunday (Sept to July) at Whitton Sport and Fitness Centre where you will find an open session and make new friends.

•4:30pm to 6.00pm - intermediate and beginner players.
•6.00pm to 8.00pm- intermediate & advance players.

These sessions are focused on making volleyball fun giving you the technical skills and match practice to progress quickly and join a league team (if you wish). Everybody who wants to take on a new sport or improve basics is welcome to join in. Adults and over 16 juniors, mixed. Both sessions are pay as you go.
