PL4S S.London Junior Volleyball
returns on 29th January

The Premier League 4 Sport South London Junior League (Spring Series) gets back underway on Sunday, 29th January as several age groups for boys and girls get ready to compete at the usual place Kingston College Arena, Kingston from 12.00 noon to 3.00 pm. Last term (Winter Series) over 100 young people competed in various age groups.
Fixtures for 2012 Spring Series:
• u15-to-u18 =6v6 Boys (Sun 29th Jan, Sun 19th Feb, Sun 11th Mar, Sun 1st April
• u15-to-u18 = 6v6 Girls (Sun 5th Feb, Sun 25th Feb, Sun 18th Mar, Sun 15th Apr)
• u10-to-u14 = 4v4 boys & girls (Sun 12th Feb, Sun 4th Mar, Sun 25th Mar
The league series format will be same as last term with different age groups alternating each Sunday playing several matches in a tournament set-up. Teams accumulate points at each event to win league ranking points. New and existing teams are welcome to register and challenge all.
The league is always open to new and existing players and teams of advanced, intermediate and beginner level. If there're willing volunteers to help co-ordinate the league and support young referees, we would also be pleased to hear from you too! The league promotes and supports Young Referee Leaders to gain valuable experience building their confidence and knowledge of the game. Teams participating are also expected to bring a 1st referee, a 2nd referee and a scorer on their match day.

League Overview
The league is administrated by Richmond Volleyball and the structure marks a significant stage in the development of junior volleyball in London offering local competition for boys and girls of various age groups building their confidence and enjoyment in the game and thereby supporting additional pathways for junior people to progress to higher levels of play (i.e. regional and national junior competitions).
