Birmingham wins Richmond Summer League

The 5th Richmond Summer Mixed Volleyball League Season can to a close last Tuesday evening after 9 weeks of fun and competitive volleyball held at Old Deer Park.
The 2010 honours were as follows:
• Winner – Michael Birmingham
• Joint second place – Michael Ghelfi and Gordon Wuest
• Best female – Karina Kristensen
• Best performer – Tanya Haden-Tebb
• Volunteers – Michael Ghelfi, Marek Sokolowski and Neil Kenyon
The league organizers would like to thank all the participants and also recognize the tremendous dedication from league volunteers Marek Sokolowski, Michael Ghelfi and Neil Kenyon helping set up the volleyball courts every week.
