Sign-up now for 2010-11 South London Volleyball League

Looking for more chances to play indoor local volleyball this coming September! Then come and join the South London Volleyball League held at two central venues in Kingston and Richmond. It's fun, great value, sociable but yet a competitive league.
Since the launch of the league in 2008 the league in 2009/10 drew in 280 mixed adult players and 60 junior players making this London’s most popular and fastest growing indoor volleyball competition. It also hosted the exciting South London Division 1 and 2 finals which consisted of the top six teams seeded from two local volleyball centres.
League Overview
• 6-a-side volleyball teams
• Matches run from Sept 2010 to April 2011
• Two central fixed locations (Richmond and Kingston)
• Monday Match night at Richmond College, Richmond (7-10pm)
• Thursday Match night at Tiffin Boys Sport Centre, Kingston (7-10pm)
• Division 1 is for advance/intermediate teams (can be men only, mixed or women only teams)
• Division 2 is for intermediate/beginner teams (can only be mixed or women only teams)
• 7 teams per division (28 teams in total)
• Guarantied 16/18 matches
• Match duration 50 minutes
• Play two matches per evening (i.e. triangular matches) and 1 match to officiate
• Play matches every 2nd or 3rd week in the mouth
• Top three teams from each division quality to SLVL finals
• Prizes for winners / runners-up at the SLVL finals
• Adult team entry £300.00 (based on six people equates to £2.79 p/p per match)
• 1st payment of £70.00 (end of July) and reminder (£230.00) at start of season (Sept)
• Junior team entry £150.00
• Volleyball England Affiliated
Throughout the season league centres also run Junior Tournaments (u14, u15, u16 boys and girls) and Sitting Volleyball Festivals.
