The 2nd round of the Richmond Volleyball 4v4 Grand Slam tournaments was held in Merton for the 1st time and was won by Team Japan (Open Division), Stanford (Mixed Div 1) and Tuskers (Mixed Div 2).
The competition has grown again with a total of 24 teams and with four more events to go new teams are still welcome to register and challenge the top teams in either the Open Division (for the serious players) or the Mixed Divisions.
Anyone can enter a team- it is open to all ages, abilities and gender.
The concept behind the 4v4 Series is to take volleyball on tour across South West London promoting and increasing local volleyball activity
for all levels of the community from novice players to Olympic hopefuls.
Teams accumulate points over the 6 events to win ranking points for big prizes.
We also pride ourselves giving you a format with lots of matches and with little down time. Volleyball players just want to play so we offer a minimum of 12 sets which are self-referred sending you home tired but happy!
