Richmond men are London Champions

Richmond Men’s London League champions signed off their Division 1 season in style with a comfortable 3-0 away victory against KS Osemka (2nd in the league) and bringing back the good times to South West London.
Richmond’s Captain M.Ghelfi commented, It’s fantastic, we are back where we belong in London League’s top flight. Players' commitment to training and the great atmosphere within the team contributed to our domination of Division One (11 wins out of 12 games). Being the favourites to make the step up, we did well to handle the pressure and we look forward to being competitive next season in the Men's Premier Division.
There is still more to come from all the players and we look forward to our new challenge next season with aim to cement ourselves in London’s Premier League. We also look forward to welcoming a number of our elite junior players coming through gaining valuable experience and thereby providing the platform with the commitment, discipline and desire to progress into our elite men’s national league team which was recently been promoted to National League Division One.
