Richmond fight-back but not enough in a five set battle

In search of a win and promotion to National Division 1 Richmond Volleyball men went down 3-2 at Kingston Arena against SGTV Solent (7th) but remain 5th in the NVL with London Lynx (6th) losing to London Knights (2nd).
Richmond struggled to find their best form in the early stages of the match giving the visitors a two set advantage 23-25 and 22-25. In the 3rd and 4th the home side fought back with excellent all round play - serving, passing, attacking and blocking 25-20; and 25-13.
Having made a come back and leveling the game with 2-2 sets each the momentum was with Richmond to finish the 5th and take all the points but they fall short in the serve receive department and made too errors giving the advantage to the Solent forcing Richmond out of the game 8-15.
Richmond now has 1 more NVL game and will travel away to Peckham to take on London Knights on Saturday 10th April.
