U14 Hollyfield Boys win Kingston borough crown

Hollyfield Boys surpassed all expectations finishing top of the 3rd u14 Kingston Schools Volleyball Finals
stealing the crown from Chessington School who have been the winners for the past two years. The event was held at y at Tiffin Boys School consisting of 10 teams from 5 schools (Chessington, Southborough, Richard Challoner, Tiffin Boys and Hollyfield).
In Group A the two main challengers were Richard Challenor, B (1st) and Chessington A (2nd) who progressed to the semi-finals, winning against Hollyfield B and Tiffin Boys B. In Group B it was Hollyfield (1st) and Chessington B (2nd) who progressed to the semi-finals, winning against Southborugh A, Richard Challenor A and Tiffin Boys A.
The top two teams Richard Challenor and Hollyfield overpowered Chessington A and B in the semi-finals and for the first time we had two new teams in the u14 Kingston borough final. The final was a highly competitive game with Hollyfield showing the greater consistency and proved too much for Richard Challenor and were worthy champions winning the match by 28 to 20 points.
Richmond Volleyball Schools Coordinator commented, the boys finals was a great success. Thanks goes to all the school teachers, venue host and sport leaders who helped on the day as scorers and referees.

runs junior sessions for boys and girls at Tiffin Boys School (Sat 10am), Chessington School (Mon 4.15pm), Coombe Girls School (Thurs 4.30pm) and London Oratory School (Fri 4.30 pm).
