An excellent performance by Richmond u15 Boys in National Divisional Finals

Traveling away to local London neighbours Ernst Bevin last Sunday, Richmond U15 Boys produced an excellent performance showing their potential but did not qualify to the u15 National Finals. They battled hard in their National Divisional (South East, London & Eastern region) Group Finals with four teams and only two places secured qualification but finished 3rd. Richmond won against UEA Norwich 25-18; 25-21 but lost against Boswell School from Essex 25-21; 25-14 (last years National u15 Champions) and against Ernst Bevin 25-22; 25-18.
Richmond coach commented, this is the 1st time we’ve have entered the u15 boys age group and praised them highly for their commitment, energy and enormous progress they have all made in the last four months having trained three times per week. The players were selected from the successful Richmond and Kingston Schools Sport Partnership Volleyball programme and in association with the Premier League 4 Sport hub clubs linked with Fulham FC Foundation. Richmond’s tournament player was Josue Seekings.
Richmond Volleyball Junior Centre of Excellence based at Tiffin Boys School is now seeing the progress of all our junior developmental players training regularly for varies age groups (u18, u16, u15 and u14) boys and girls. The teams train at Tiffin Boys School (Sat 10am), Chessington CC (Mon 4.15pm), Coombe Girls (Thurs 4.30pm) and London Oratory (Fri 4.30 pm).
