u15 Richmond boys qualify to National Divisional Finals

Richmond Volleyball u15 Boys travelled to St Gabriels School (Newbury) last Sunday and secured a place in the Volleyball England National Divisional Finals to be held in Wandsworth (London) next month with the top two teams progressing to the National Finals in Birmingham on Saturday 20th March.
They made it through the semi-final group stages with registered 2-0 victories over Danes (Watford) and Newbury VC, a 1-1 draw against Ernst Bevin B and a 2-0 loss against Ernst Bevin A.
Richmond coach commented, this tall, young and athletic group of players
competed hard and performed very well as a team showing great team spirit especially by Elliott Blagrove who was voted Richmond’s player of the tournament.
We look forward to meeting all the new challengers that await us in March!
The boys have been selected from the successful Richmond and Kingston Schools Sport Partnership Volleyball programme and the Premier League 4 Sport hub clubs associated with Fulham FC.
The boys train at Tiffin Boys School (Sat 10am), Chessington School (Mon 4.15pm), Coombe Girls School (Thurs 4.30pm) and London Oratory School (Fri 4.30 pm).
