South London Volleyball League half season review

The South London (Local) Volleyball League based at two central venues in Richmond (Richmond College) and Kingston (Tiffin Boys Sport Centre) hosts 280 players and is now at the midway point with teams having played roughly half of their regular season fixtures. How the season has shaped up so far.
In Richmond Division 1 - Teddington Tide End (won 7 lost 3) are holding top spot followed closely by Whitton Warriors (won 6 lost 2) and Richmond Stags (won 7 and lost 3 – plus two penalty points).
Kingston Knights (won 10 and lost 0) are leading the way in Richmond's 2nd Division not having lost a match followed by PVC Pumas (won 7 and lost 3), Hounslow Hawks (won 6 lost 2) and Hampton Court Lancers (won 6 lost 2).
In the Kingston 1st Division - Wimbledon Wildfire (24 pts) are heading the table not losing a game. The battle is on for 2nd place between Teddington Thunder (20 pts), Hampstead Spikers (16 pts) and Twickenham Icebergs (16 pts).
With the first matches of the New Year taking place on the 3rd January (Richmond) and 14th January (Kingston) the order of teams is likely to change before the eventual winners from the divisions can be identified. At the end of the season the top three teams from each division will meet each other and compete in the ultimate South London Volleyball Finals to be held in April. Teams finishing 4th to 6th in the Kingston Division will quality to the 2nd Division on the South London Volleyball Finals.

6th Hounslow Hot Shots (10 pts)
