Great start for Richmond men in
their new NVL campaign

Newly promoted Richmond NVL men’s team made a great start to their 2nd National Volleyball League campaign last weekend with a strong 3-0 away win against Plymouth Activate, a top 4 team last season.
Richmond managed to keep the core of their squad together from last season and have also added four new signings (Y. Zdorovcov – Ukrainian ex-International; A.Kornilov: Russian ex-International, R.Bachor – Richmond Junior, E.Bardi – Richmond Junior).
Richmond Coach commented’ We have put a statement out for the rest of the league. It was certainly a strong team performance and with all 11 players playing a part we will take confidence from this. We played well and sustained it over 3 sets. Plymouth is a good team and I’m sure they’ll bounce back.
Richmond is looking forward to playing in front of their home supporters on Sat 3rd October at 5pm at the Kingston College Arena however they have another away match on Sat 26th Sept and face Portsmouth VC in the National League Cup.
