Junior Summer Camp a Great Success

Richmond Volleyball held their first ever successful 5 day non-residential Summer Camp for beginners and improvers which ran between Mon 27th July to Fri 31st July for u13 to u17 boys and girls at the Richmond upon-Thames College.
Richmond Senior Coaches took charge of the 5 day camp from 10am to 4pm consisting of individual skills sessions, game preparation sessions, and daily 2v2 to 4v4 tournaments giving players the opportunity to develop their game. The camp also incorporated Volleyball England’s Young Referees Leaders Award and all students passed providing them with further knowledge and confidence of the game.
Players from as far as Egham, Central London, Dorking, Corydon and Richmond took part and had a great fun making new friendships and all improved their skils and game play. Daily lunches were provided and a group photograph with certificates was given to all participants as a memento of a great week. Richmond Volleyball would like to thank Richmond College for their support and look forward to holding an even bigger and better event at same week next year.
