5th week - Summer League attracts record number of players

In its 5th week the Richmond Volleyball Mixed Summer League sets a new record of 96 registered players all battling their way to the top of the league table. Sitting at the top is Marek Sokolowski with 31 points, followed closely by Franck Glandy, Dan Cleather, Michael Ghelfi (all on 28 points). Top female player Renata Zhunusova is also on 28 points.
Players who wish to participate in the league are still very welcome. The league is held every Tuesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30pm at Old Deer Park in Richmond and will finish on Tuesday 28th July. The league features mixed abilities from national, regional and local league players.
To enter you just need to turn up (no need to enter a team) and register on the day. The organisers allocate you to a team. League points are awarded on individual basis (not per team). League will now offer fee reductions for late registrations - 5 weeks is £10.00 (adults) and £6.00 (juniors u18). First matches round of matches start at 6.30 with the 2nd round at 7.30pm.
