3rd week - Summer League attracts record number of players

In its 3rd week Richmond Volleyball mixed Summer league attracted a record number of players since the league launch in 2006 competing in picturesque surroundings of Old Deer Park. With 6 weeks still to go a total of 75 players are chasing for top spot with Marek Sokolowski on top with 19 points, followed closely by Henry Szyszko and Dan Cleather both with 18 points. The top female player Therese Emborg is on 15 points. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 league players and top female player.
Players who wish to participate in the league are still very welcome. The league is held every Tuesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30pm at Old Deer Park in Richmond. The league features mixed abilities from national, regional and local league players.
To enter you just need to turn up (no need to enter a team) and register on the day. The organisers allocate you to a team. League points are awarded on individual basis (not per team). The cost for 9 weeks is £15.00 (adults) and £10.00 (juniors u18). First matches round of matches start at 6.30 with the 2nd round at 7.30pm
