2009/10 South London Volleyball League - Sign up Now!

Looking for more chances to play volleyball for 2009/2010 season? Looking for a fun, great value, sociable but yet competitive league? Then come and join the South London Volleyball League – the fastest growing league in London. We only have a few 6v6 team spaces still available so don’t delay sign-up now.
The South London Volleyball League is held at central venues in Richmond (Richmond College) and Kingston (Tiffin Sports Centre) supporting 28 teams, 10 junior teams, 5 sitting teams (300 people). Match nights will be on Monday evenings at Richmond College from 7-10pm and on Thursday evenings at Tiffin Boys Sports Centre from 7-10pm.
The league will run two divisions at each venue from September to April. Division 1 is for advance/intermediate teams and Division 2 is for intermediate/beginner teams. For Division 1 teams can be men, women or mixed teams. Division 2 can only be mixed or women only teams. At the end of the season the top three teams from each four divisions will qualify to compete in the ultimate Division 1 and Division 2 South London Volleyball League Championship finals
Each team entered in the league will play all their matches at one venue and compete every other week or every third week and on average have 18 matches per season. When you do compete you will have two matches per evening (i.e. triangular matches) and 1 match to officiate.
The South London Volleyball League will also run a monthly Thursday Junior South London League (JSLL) at the Tiffin Boys Sports Centre for u16 & u18 girls and u16 & u18 boys offering competitive opportunities for junior volleyball players. Six Sitting Volleyball Tournaments will also be held on Monday evenings at Richmond College.
To enter a team you need to complete the application form and forward back to league secretary. For the season, a team will pay £280.00 which will cover the team’s administration and court cost (18 matches). The 1st payment of £90.00 is made when the team submit their league entry form (payable before 1st August ) and the 2nd payment of £190.00 is made at the start of the season (payable before 30th September). On average based on a squad of six people the cost per match per person for the season will be £2.60. Junior team entry is £96.00 (£12.50 per event equates to £2.50 p/p per event).
