Richmond Champs finish with a flourish

Richmond Men wrapped up the National League Division 3 Eastern Conference as champions and finished the season on a high with convincing wins over Stowmarket (3-0) and Watford Danes (3-0).
With several key players injured Richmond’s younger players had their chance to impress and took full opportunity. Richmond started the stronger side in both games running the quick middle players with continued pressure with strong serve and block game run away winners.
Richmond coached commented. “In our debut season, I am delighted for the players, volunteers and supporters in this great achievement. The squad responded strongly and were motivated to finish on a high – that’s a great quality in the team."
