Richmond Men’s National League team has safely secured automatic promotion to National League Division Two in their Inaugural season with 2 games in hand.
The top spot was secured last Sunday with a comfortable win against Brentwood 3-0 but a loss to Sussex Dolphins 3-1 and with nearest league challengers London Lynx dropping crucial points.
Richmond coached commented: ’In 2 years we have developed the men's performance programme into one of the top 20 clubs in England and we now look forward to the challenge of National League Division 2. I want to congratulate our players, volunteers and supporters in this great achievement. At the start of the season we were looking to get promoted and are happy that we have achieved this with flying colours- and 2 games left to play. We are a young developing squad and with our continued effort and dedication should compete well in Div 2.’
