Richmond Men move closer to national league promotion

After a tough National Cup ¼ final match win on Saturday, Richmond were on road the following day to East London to maintain their undefeated National Division 3 Eastern Conference league record against Dartford and London Lynx but suffered their first league defeat of the season at the hands of 2nd placed Lynx in a 5 set thriller.
Richmond coach commented, "It’s a shame losing our undefeated record of 12 wins but having played three matches over the weekend the team had little left in the tank. We’re still in a strong position to secure our automatic promotion and from our next five games we need to secure three victories. We will recoup from this and look forward to our next challenge against Tendring who are lying 3rd in the league table.
