Richmond putting Volleyball Love back into sport!

Richmond Volleyball successfully hosted the Love 2 Volleyball Festival on Saturday 14th Feb sponsored by Pro-Active South London at Kingston Arena with the aim to encourage more women to take up sport and join the club in its varies activities such as Sunday's open sessions at Whitton School, Corporate tournament, 2009 Summer League and new entrants to 2009/10 South London Volleyball League.
The event was free for all women and girls and involved a fun structured 30 minute introductory coaching session followed by a tournament. All 20 participants enjoyed the afternoon of competitive matches with music and chocolate.
Richmond Events Coordinator was delighted with feedback attracting 10 complete beginners all keen to come back and play more. Richmond Volleyball Club would like to extend their warm thanks to Pro-Active South London, Richmond club volunteers and Kingston College staff who supported the event and made it an enjoyable success.
