16th December 2008
Richmond coach hailed middle players T.Stepien and D.Cleather after their two victories on the road last weekend against Newmarket (3-0) and Brentwood Estonians (3-0) extending their undefeated run to 9 wins in the Men's National League Division 3 Eastern Conference keeping in touch with league leaders Tendring by 1 point with 3 games in hand.
The coach commented the squad has grown and the guys are feeling strong and confident at the half stage of the season but we still have a long way to go and we’ll need to keep the team committed and focused for the 2nd half. We have a great group of guys here and when everyone is back from injury we definitely have the potential to go all the way this season. It’s going to be a tough task and will continue to train hard.
Richmond’s next match is in the New Year travelling to Yorkshire where they will meet Boathouse VC in the 2nd round of NVL Shield.
