Grey girls and Christ boys topped u16 Richmond Schools Cluster B Festival

Grey Court girls and Christ’s boys topped the Richmond Secondary Schools (yr 10 &11) Volleyball Cluster B Festival Finals. Both girls and boys festivals were held at Hampton Boys Independent School and the girls group featured: Christ School, Teddington and Grey Court; and in the boys group; Teddington, Grey Court and Christ School.
In the girls group Grey Court won both their matches beating Christ 2-1 and Teddington 2-1. Christ finished 2nd having won against Teddington (3-0). In the boys group Christ won both their matches beating Grey 2-1 and Teddington 3-0.
All the Richmond Schools from Cluster B will meet again with Cluster A Schools (Whitton, Waldegrave Hampton CC, Hampton Boys, and Orleans Park) on Friday 5th December and compete for the 1st single gender Richmond (yr 10 & 11) Schools Volleyball Championship Finals.
The two top boys and girls Richmond Schools will then go on and challenge the top two schools from Kingston in the 1st Inter-Borough Schools Volleyball Championships Finals held on Tuesday 9th December. Richmond Volleyball Schools coordinator commented; we are delighted with the increase of younger people involved and the standard of play has sufficiently improved. We would also like to express thanks to all the school sport leaders who helped on the day.
