Tiffin Girls and Chessington boys topped u16 Kingston Schools Cluster B Festival

Congratulations went to Tiffin Girls and Chessington Community College Boys who topped the Kingston Secondary Schools (year 10 and 11) Cluster B Volleyball Festival Finals. Both girls and boys festivals was held at Chessington and in the girls group featured: Tolworth Girls, Chessington, Tiffin A, and Tiffin B; and in the boys group; Coombe Boys A, Coombe Boys B and Chessington.
Tiffin A won all three matches having beaten Chessington 2-1; Tolworth 2-0 and Tiffin B 2-0 and Chessington Girls finished 2nd beating Tolworth 2-0 and Tiffin B 2-0. In the boys group Chessington ran away worthy winners winning their two games 3-0. Coombe A finished 2nd winning (3-0) against Coombe B.
Event organisers Richmond Volleyball would like to thank Chessington sport leaders who helped on the day. All the Kingston Schools from Cluster B will meet again with Cluster A Schools (Coombe Girls, Holy Cross, Richard Challenor, Southborough and Hollyfield) on Tuesday 2nd December and compete for the 1st Kingston (yr 10 & 11) Borough Volleyball Championship Finals.
The two top boys and girls Kingston Schools will then go on and challenge the top two schools from Richmond in the 1st Inter-Borough Schools Volleyball Championships Finals held on Tuesday 9th December. Richmond Volleyball Schools coordinator commented; we are delighted by the schools
enthusiasm and the young people to take up this new sport. We look forward to finals and welcome parents to come and support their schools.
