Richmond enters National League Volleyball

National League Volleyball is coming to Richmond next season with Richmond Men’s 1st team entering for the first time. Their campaign will start in National Division 3 South and the team has set themselves the ambitious goal of qualifying for a Division 2 place in 2009/10.
Richmond’s home matches will be played at Kingston Arena which is one of best sport centres in the area and can set up to 500 people. The Arena Sports Centre Manager, is delighted to welcome national league volleyball to the centre - “It is such a positive step for Kingston Arena and our community to have another elite sport”.
Richmond’s Chairman is delighted with the club progress into NVL “We are progressing towards national excellence and raising the profile of the volleyball in the community. The men’s NVL team will be a young team so they will improve and develop strongly by playing against stronger and more competitive teams”.
