Tuskers thumped by Richmond
10th March 2008
Richmond Ladies 1st team travelled to Dulwich on Friday to play Tuskers in a London League Division 1 fixture. Despite a lengthy journey through the rush hour traffic, the Richmond side were the first on court for the warm up looking confidently relaxed.
In just less than an hour, strong and consistent service and faultless attacks sealed the victory – 25:17, 25:16, 25:16. “We tried a new system tonight and I am pleased with the result” comments coach Vera Kenyon. “It will give us more flexibility in attack and will better utilize the potential of each player. Overall our game seemed effortless, although we still have some work to do on serve-receive”,
