Richmond Women clip Eagles Wings

Richmond Women were determined to set the record straight last Friday with a 3-1 victory over White Eagles. Although White Eagles narrowly escaped with 25-23 win in the first set, Richmond dominated the next three and did not even let their opponent’s score reach the 20’s.
Consistent strong serving (L.Ploscicova, N.Al-Shahumi), solid blocking (D.Zimmerman, D.Lane), unstoppable attacks (B.Marikova) and great work in defense (A.Davis) brought victory home.
It was sweat revenge having lost 3-2 to the same team last December. Team coach, V.Kenyon, said: “ Girls were training hard and it starting to pay off. Team work was superb”.
