Netting Some Young Talent at St Margaret's Fair

Last weekend Richmond Volleyball (an accredited volley 1 clubmark club) had a busy weekend at St Margaret’s Fair on Saturday and then Teddington Fair on Sunday.
St Margaret's Fair is probably one of largest fairs in the borough and has been running for over 28 years. Its one day in the year when the whole community comes together to have a good time.
Richmond Volleyball sees participation in community events as an excellent way to develop local links and increase involvement in our youth and senior programs.
Richmond Volleyball set-up a court in the middle of the busy festival which created great excitement and fun and proved to be a hard to resist activity for number of children and adults. ‘Stan the Stag’ Richmond’s walking mascot also provided some great entertainment.
Richmond would like to thank the organizers of St Margaret’s Fair for making it an enjoyable and successful day for Richmond Volleyball.
Next Sunday Richmond Volleyball will be going to Kingston Festival of Sport held at Canbury Gardens (off Ham Road). This is the final of the whole week of the Kingston River Celebration. Richmond Volleyball will run demonstrations, taster sessions and some fun challenges. Come and support us! We need players to show what great sport volleyball is!
Richmond Volleyball is running a number of Junior Volleyball Summer Camps through the summer holidays. If you have got loads of energy and want to make the most of your school holidays by playing Volleyball and having fun then why not come and join us at any one of our Volleyball Camps?
Dates: Tues 24th July to Friday 27th July (age group: 11 to 14 year olds); Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August (age group 11 - 14 year olds); and Mon 20th August to Thurs 23rd August (age group 8 to 10 year olds).
