400 people turn out for London Challenge

Over 400 players participated in the inaugural 2006 London Challenge Trophy at Crystal on April 9th 2006 and was both a volleyball success and a sociable event for London volleyballers and their families.
Supported by London Volleyball Association, Crystal Palace National Sport Centre and Goldeneye Executive Resource the event hosted volleyball at elite level for men and women (10 teams), a mixed open tournament (35 teams), an indoor corporate volleyball event (5 teams), a sitting volleyball ‘come and try’ session and entertainment from the UK Cheerleading Association.
The Director of London Challenge commented this was London's largest volleyball event for nearly 15 years and was a great success. I would like to thank all the sponsors Schroders, Vodafone Group Plc, IPS Group Services, Ernst & Young and Goldeneye Executive Resourcing,
participants and volunteers making the challenge and enjoyable and competitive day out.
