Extract from Volleyball England web page “Such was the standard of the Final that some of the spectators watching the match between Wessex Men v Malory NVL Super 8 play off match started trying to watch both! It was incredibly close but the Beach Academy won the first set 26-24. Unfortunately an Academy player hurt her ankle and was unable to continue when Richmond were winning the second 15-12. It was decided to finish the match then with Richmond going though as winners- a real shame as the game was developing into quite a spectacle.”
