Verona Volley London Summer Camps
Welcome and thank you for considering Verona Volley London Camps.
The London residential camp will be managed by Richmond Volleyball in collaboration with
Verona Volley Femminile,
an Italian Serie A Premier Professional Volleyball Club.
The camp will take place in Kingston-upon-Thames - a historic market town located in South-West London, just 30 minutes by train from the
centre of London.
All athletes will be staying at Kingston University halls of residence in single rooms with toilet and shower en-suite.
Full board is included.
Technical volleyball coaching will be held at Kingston College Sports Arena
which is in the centre of the town (15 minute walk from the accommodation). English tuition will be held in the
classrooms at Kingston College.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
VERONA VOLLEY LONDON CAMP is a unique experience which offers sport, fun,
English culture and language in the Olympics host city 2012 and one of the most vibrant places of the world.
The London Camp is for all the athletes with intermediate skills who want to continue practising volleyball
over the summer period. For those who wish to improve their English language this camp gives a great opportunity to
study with an English tutor. For those who would rather focus on history and sightseeing, there is an option for
excursions and tours instead.
HOW MUCH?
The price of the course (volleyball coaching plus English tuition or cultural experience) is £500 per athlete. For a little extra
each athlete can participate in additional sightseeing and tours (destinations and prices are available on request).
