UK School Games
The UK School Games
is the biggest multi-sport event for the most talented school age athletes
in the country. Responsibility for the development and organisation of the
UK School Games lies with the Youth Sport Trust.
Each competition comprises 3 English Teams (North, South and Central), 2 Scottish Teams (East/South & North/West)
and 1 team from Northern Ireland
Any player from the Richmond Juniors teams (u17 boys and u16 girls as of the 1st of September of the current school year)
is eligible to represent South England in the Games. Players can be selected or recommended
on the basis of their performance in the National or Regional competition and invited for trials
and training with South England's squad or annual junior performance camp at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering.
