South London Volleyball League

Junior Teams and Tournaments

Every year Richmond Juniors mixed team takes part in the South London Volleyball Local League in Division 2. Participation in the League gives the young players opportunity to have regular games ( every 2-3 weeks) without travelling too far. All matches are at Richmond College on Mondays 7-10 pm.
It is also a chance to measure their skills against senior players and to push themselves a little bit harder.

In addition to that, from October to April South London Local league hosts several special Junior Tournaments for all age groups where boys and girls compete on 2 courts. The format differs from event to event but the most popular is a series of timed mini-games where players accumulate individual points throughout the evening in varies teams. This season these events are scheduled on

• 15 November 2010, Richmond College, 7-10pm
• 14 February 2011, Richmond College, 7-10pm
• 11 April 2011, Richmond College, 7-10pm
• 25 April 2011, Richmond College, 7-10pm
