Secondary School-Club Links

Since Richmond Volleyball introduced Volleyball to Richmond Secondary Schools in February 2006 the sport has grown significantly and has become one of the top three sports in the borough. Richmond Volleyball would like to thank all SSPs and all the teachers involved in the programmes who are working very hard with us to improve volleyball standards in the community.

As a direct result of our efforts volleyball is now firmly established on the PE agenda in 27 secondary schools, across 4 boroughs. The main outcome of our work with schools is raised overall level of the the sport and regular school volleyball competitions.

Each term we deliver blocks of lunch time and after school sessions for different age groups followed by Borough finals and Inter-Borough events.
